Projects > Stunt Our Growth (exhibition view)

This project utilized the remnants of a collaboration with a fellow artist. After the collaboration was complete I set forth to reconstruct/deconstruct the sculptures to deny their obvious growth and stunt them, making them fold in upon themselves instead of branching outward. This conscious effort to confine the sculptures is a symbolic response to our society's habitual need to buy more, spend more, and waste more in every facet of life.
